I would like to say that it's just the first group, but man, this is already much messier than last season. The lowest score then was 51-ish and now we already have two scores in the 40s

Kessler is almost certainly not going to make the free, but he should take pride in knowing that he was in first at the end of his flight, and skated well

And I got my hopes up after the saved toe. Nice energy but the jumps were all very wobbly and the Axel finally got him.

glad I got to see them in practice - I know they can do the elements - just not yet under pressure

I've really enjoyed seeing him at Worlds these past couple of years, I feel sad that he probably won't make it into the free skate with how the content was executed
