There will be at least 5 spots available for the men at an as-of-yet unnamed Olympic Qualifying Event in Beijing that will take place this fall. Each NOC can send one skater if they want to try and get an Olympic spot and didn't automatically qualify one at Worlds.

Is it me or the technical panel is stricter today than it was yesterday for women SP?

Yes, but also not really strict either. A number of jumps that were under were called as q, while some that were q were called as clean.
It's a different panel too, so I guess everyone is just getting carried away by the atmosphere.
(The Americans haven't gone yet either, so we'll see if they are consistent or not).

How Roman gets a Q for his quad, while all 3 of the American women's triple toes in their combinations were called clean is beyond me. Roman's was far less noticeable and far closer to being clean in my opinion ... the jump calls are really frustrating me at worlds. I don't know if I've seen so much inconsistency in the past.
