2025 World Championships Men's Short Program

I think he's a future European Champion
Needs to increase his technical difficulty significantly though. Doesn't have any quads, and all of his triples are pretty small and unimpressive. Definitely give him credit for his commitment to some pretty interesting choreography though

How Roman gets a Q for his quad, while all 3 of the American women's triple toes in their combinations were called clean is beyond me. Roman's was far less noticeable and far closer to being clean in my opinion ... the jump calls are really frustrating me at worlds. I don't know if I've seen so much inconsistency in the past.
Wait until Misha Shaidorov skates. They will be brutal. They will be very generous with Brown's jumps.

Our commentator think the coach gave advices and it is not allowed. They did not tell what does it cause, maybe warning.

Really? Jason hasn’t even skated yet and you are already complaining about him. Get a grip! Ageism isn’t an attractive look either.
It's not judging him for being 30, but that he has been around and struggling to rotate jumps therefore has a reputation. The tech panel knows what to look for but chooses to ignore it. There are 15 or 16 year old skaters with similar reputations built up over 18 months or two years and they go out of their way to target them.

Andrew short program is my favorite short program of the Year by a country mile, okay maybe only a little bit ahead of the elder Salevko's program. Yes, Illia's is a pretty creative program, but there is so much passion in andrews, such pure edges, and such an amazing step sequence. Not the best he has skated this program, but it's just so good
