2026 Junior World Championships | Men's Free Skate

(Original quote redacted, redacting my quote of it as well)

Wow, did you have to quote a tweet that puts down Kevin Aymoz like that? Seriously...

Edit: I too am disappointed that we won't get to see that gala again...but that's not the way to hype it up, by implicitly putting down another skater

You're right. It was not my intention at all, I didn't bother to read the quote carefully and only when you mentioned it I got the mean reference, it was not clear to me at first at all without the context. Anyway, ignore the quote, enjoy the performance
Edit: I changed the link in my post to make my intention clear.

I love these ceremony moment, Minkyu first putting on his crown before the flag, Daiya beeing the flag adjuster, Rio getting his crown :love4:
@NoNameFace exquisite work!
Tried my best. Taiga got crown thrown as well, just hope it isn't fully squished
Minkyu made my evening, similarly to what Yujae did in Gdańsk last year. To see them bringing my crafts to their celebrations really does something to me.
And well, I kinda wanted at least one short moment of Rio wearing the crown, so I went to VC instead of throwing it post his glorious FS.

I'm glad to hear that giving Rio his crown at the victory ceremony was intentional and not that you couldn't throw it on the ice in time! 😁

I switched on YT as soon as I got home, just in time for Rio's clean skate. Seeing his victory just made my week. 🥲
First time a JPN junior man has won junior Worlds twice, congrats!! 👏

Btw my mum saw Rio and his dad for the first time, she thought they were brothers
This was a great men's competition and excellent podium. Speechless at Rio Nakata's program. :love2:
Sad that once again, Jacob Sanchez ends up in fourth but that's no slouch considering no quad.

Juniors next year is going to be interesting. I assume Rio, Minkyu and Jacob will move up to international seniors. Taiga, Habin, and Denis will still be in juniors due to age. Unsure about Genrikh, Lucius and Yanhao who could go either way (but I'm guessing they'll go senior).
I'm happy to see Rio finally move up to seniors. Just not looking forward to japanese nationals...

Wow...late to the party but really enjoyed the last two groups.
I do have some questions.
#1 Yanhao Li's coach, Bess Cao, turned her creds around in the K and C very much on purpose...she is no secret...what is she afraid of? She stated on Social media.
"Important Notice Regarding Yanhao Li

For all upcoming local club, regional competitions, and the New Zealand National Championships, Yanhao Li and his team have made a strict request: no videos are to be taken of his competition routines or any time he is on the ice, unless prior permission has been granted.
This decision has been made to allow the team to deliver their best performance when fully ready. If anyone is found recording without permission, they will be asked to delete the footage immediately.

We kindly ask everyone to be respectful and proactive in supporting this request. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Any questions about video a minor, pls read the link below:

People on Readit found this very odd and unenforceable but I dont know it is is true in NZ ? It seems an odd request.

#2 Just curious...Rio was fantastic! Rio Nakata placed his hand over his heart during the Japanese anthem. His team mate did not. I dont think this is part of the Japanese flag code, ?????
