Womens’ skating is so not my thing.

It's my least favorite of the disciplines as well but I think we are in the minority because the women's FS always pulls in the crowd. This is the largest audience in attendance for any event this week, isn't it?

In most countries it is the markee event,so they leave the FS to Saturday, when the most crowd is expected...

Wearing white for "Schindler's List"?! No, it doesn't make sense.

And even though it is the familiar tones of my fellow Ulsterman Liam Neeson that we heard, I still do not approve of voiceovers.

The skating was exceptional. But, for me, the concept didn't work at all.

She'll still be right up there, though.

She goes into the lead of both the FS and overall.

Going by the reaction, she was NOT expecting that!

Sophia did a wonderful job with that piece of music but I think my most memorable performance of it will always be Yulia Lipnitskaya's interpretation of it.

Sophia's program is just beautiful. She hits some great positions, vaguely reminds me of Sasha Cohen on that score. Not a single flaw that I could see. She should be really proud of herself.

That was one of the easiest 3xel 3 toe jump i have ever seen from a woman.

Oh my GOD that was amazing from Hana!!!! That opening 3A+3T was incredible, it was probably the best one I've ever seen! She held up incredibly well to the pressure of being in medal position. The new training environment seems to be working really well for her, her jumps are incredible and I think being in Japan will really help her develop her skating skills further. I'm so excited to see her over the next quad!!!!!! AUSSIE POWER!!!!!!!

Awwww, that was impressive! Her passion for the program is so captivating. One slightly botched jump but the 3A and the rest were good. Very well done and congrats on the medal!

I wonder if I will score any points in women's... I have Hana in my top five but not enough at the top... and she looks like she will podium which would be amazing ... Go Australia !

Hell yeah!! She did it!! That 3A+3T was s m o o t h. She’s also been working on the PCS and the choreography in the program was well executed.

Edit: ON THE PODIUM! With a great score that will be very hard to top.
