Impressive technical content from Gummenik, 5 quads landed, including a lutz, flip and loop. Some sketchy landings. His skate didn't make me feel anything particular though.

Well, I found Gummenik's long program quite good. It's understandable that with the music change in the short, I wouldn't find that program nice, but this was good.

YES! Best skate for me so far. Gummenik did the did the thing and should soak it all in. There’s going to be technical calls, but this skate is much more representative of what he is capable of.

Great skate from Gumennik. That will surely go into the lead and stay there for a bit. I can't seen even Shun Sato or Kevin Aymoz beating that in this group - their tech content is lower.

I have to hand it to him. He held it together under what must be immense internal pressure.

There are plenty who'd celebrated him falling apart, and I'm sure he knew that.

Very impressive from Gumennik, some absolutely gorgeous jumps, the step sequence was quite good too.

He got hammered on review though, a bit harsh from what I saw.
