Matteo was on and off today, maybe he's a bit emotionally drained after getting team bronze

Well USA is kicking butt. Come on Ilia. The scores are super tight in the mid 80's. It looks like you will need oer 90 to be in the t op ten. Good thing Jason Brown isn't here. He has not skated a clean short so he could be languishing in like 15th. The American men have done well here waiting for their big star. everyone's favourite Mexican boy is in to the FS. sadly the minion boy from Sapin is out. But he has had his 15 minutes of fame. The Canadian boy was okay but he is down from the team event. It is very unlikely Gogo will make top 12 going in fs which is unfortunate. He would need huge mistakes from likely Grassl or Rizzo, Aymoz, Egaze, Adam and or Selvko to skate in the penultimate group. It is unlikely all will crash and burn but you never know. Andrew T in particular skated very well here. Not skating in the team event was good for him it appears. The skating has been good here so far but the programs are just meh to me. It might be because of the points system and he formulaic way to get higher levels and GOE's. Of course the big 3 I think to watch are still to come Ilia, Yuma and Shun.

Well, Rizzo will lose about 5 points there when you consider the -GOE that will be applied and the +GOE that he lost had it been a clean 4toe. 84.30, into 8th.
