PCS difference was clear even with the Axel stepout, but judges backed themselves into a corner already going well above 9 before, so there's no way to reflect that in the score now.

He is not beating Ilia overall anyway, but Adam can beat him for sure.

The PCS is just a consistency and momentum rating; it never actually reflects the components it’s supposed to.

I think Yuma's SP is my favourite program this season. Not overused music and he delivers.

Kagiyama was never competing with Malinin, he'll be completely overpowered in the free skate. He cemented a solid 103 or so to go for silver in the free almost guaranteed bronze unless he screws up completely.

When I watched Cha, I couldn't help but realise how much better that music is in the hand of a wonderful choreographer. Adam's program to the same music I could not stand.
