So relieved for SUI Wenjing / HAN Cong (CHN).

It wasn't perfect, but that was so much better than last week.

Awww, Wenjing has been given a flower crown! 🌻 👑

Well, she is skating royalty, after all.

They go into the lead.

This was much better than their disaster of a SP from the Team Event, but I still find this program to be lacking that Sui/Han magic. I'm sure Sui's injury has not helped, she was clearly in a lot of pain at 4CC and has not had the time to recover since then.
It might not have "the Sui/Han magic" but it's far and away the best piece of choreography in Pairs these 4 years.

We Koreans still harbor a fierce hatred of that man, while Kim Dongsung was no saint he was done terribly dirty
We Québécois share the same fierce hatred.

BTW... a couple days ago, Courtney Sarault from Canada won a medal... it was the first time a non-Québécois short track skater won an individual Olympic medal... I didn't even know that... crazy how intense this sport is in Canada but just in Québec really...
