It comes down to Ilia now!!
I know it will be tough for Japan.
I just feel Japan has deserved the team gold with all these performances. Besides dance, they are 100% (5/5) in all the rest of the events.
If Lia and Trentt had gone for the 1A, and beat USA, Japan would just have had to place 2nd behind Ilia to win gold

this is why I was rooting for the canadians lmao. But a point is a point lol

Per wiki they go by medal placement of top 3 who ever has most top placements win. If tied goes by score

They outscored u.s in all events except dance
