That was a fun skate from Younghyan Cha. Good skating and characterisation.

Crowd ate Riverdance. I loved the hydroblade Bourne/Kraatz reference (?). I think he did his job pretty well considering late call.

CHA Younghyun (KOR) doing a "Riverdance" programme.

He is wearing the obligatory green shirt (although I don't like the shade at all. Turquoise for "Riverdance"?!), and black trousers.

Sorry, but every time I see somebody skating to this, I can't help thinking of Rika Hongo. Boys, but I miss her.

But, Junhwan did a great job. I enjoyed it.

As an Irish person, I would often cringe during "Riverdance" programmes with people over-doing it. But we did not have that problem this time.

He goes into 2nd position.

China doesn't send its skaters out enough. No way Yudong Chen should be in the first group, but he hasn't had enough opportunity to gain WR points.

CHEN Yudong (CHN) wearing a top that is mainly blue but is peach over his right shoulder, and black trousers. Suffice to say, it is very Hanyu.

Skating to instrumental piece "Devil May Cry" by Sofiane Pamart.

I had mixed feelings about the music. I enjoyed it at the start, but then it got a bit too techno for my taste.

But the skating was good.

Not able to comment for now but I'm watching, please pray for my tesoro to make the free, his Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto is magnificent and as you saw his Riverdance now you know how much of a performer he is so please

Agree, but I hope it's slowly changing, they've been sending skaters a bit more this season. It seems chinese skating is rebuilding after Beijing olympics and pandemic (the strick zero covid policy hit them strongly). However, I think they focus a lot on local competition, there's plenty of them and it doesn't translate to intenational results.
