Right, I didn't notice the time until the start of the Warm-Up. So, I've just gone and gathered up something to eat, and am going to be eating during this group. So, I will probably not be commenting much.

That was a fantastic last SP from Kristen; the single axel is costly but she can't train a double because of her nerve injury. Everything else was as good as she can do, maybe a little cautious on the steps but she was definitely feeling the music throughout. This may not have been her dream Olympic season with the injuries she's had, especially after she was looking so amazing last season, but she has really made it into something special.

Kristen SPOURS (GBR) is another skater that I have a soft spot for. Ever since I saw her in the BBC documentary series "Freeze".

Wearing a beautiful black and blue jumpsuit.

And that was a great skate to have as your swansong!

She and Ashley Wagner had a wee chat when she came off the ice.

My kid Chris Boyadji, and team-mate Ed Appleby, sitting with Kristen.

She goes into 5th position.

So proud of her.

That was a great skate from Alexandra!! She was definitely a bit more cautious today leading into the jumps, but everything was very nice and tidy, and she came alive in the step sequence. That should hopefully be enough to see her into the FS!
