That was another fantastic SP from Sofia! This program is a fantastic vehicle for her, and her jumps were strong as well, although they were much tighter than at the Olympic SP which will affect her GOE. The musicality and build of speed in her steps is really impressive, and I'm glad to see the judges going with her on the GOE for that element.

However, she is bleeding points on her tech score; two level 2's and lower GOE on the 2A and combo will affect her score. She does probably deserve more PCS though for at least the composition of this program though.

I really like how Sofia started the step sequence. The music is slow and she is right in synch with it. The problem for me came when the music was faster. It happened before and after the steps... she is not fast enough for her music. I guess that could explain the lower PCS.

Does it even matter when the chances are slim already... I need to find my traditional Korean rice liquor
Considering how Sarah skated... and that there are still 2 more Americans and 3 Japanese... it will be tight to get 6 and 7... I mean how can anyone get 6 and 7 when Japan and USA are almost going to be getting the top 6 blocked ? I think, as a Canadian hoping for two spots forever... and Maddie reaching 11 last year... well, here's my advice : don't waste any energy about the spots and let it go. Your girls skated well. THat's all that matters.

Skating to "Czardas".

That was great!

And it needs to be for my sake, because (as usual) I put her 2nd in my Predictions!

She goes into 3rd position.

Not much of a reaction from her.

Wise words, I'll try that. Maybe I'll succeed in doing so with the help of some alcohol
