Is that what it is? I thought it was something wrong with my laptop where I was watching, whenever a program ended and it switched to the on-ice cameraman. Or I had a random floater in one eye.Anyone see thst drone at the end of each programme? What is the point of it? To some people there in the arena, it is distracting.
Your posts are great. It feels like we are there with you.Was this now day 4 or 5 for me, oh I don't remember, time flies...
Anyways, today was a busy day, I actually started working around 7 and finished at 23:30 or so.
Despite yesterday's plan, I did work at the boards today with the photographers, but I still did escort skaters to their dressing rooms or the exit, when they got lost.
Everyone is so friendly and the press conferences are ace. Kaori almost made Amber cry, because she was talking about how important she is for the sport and the skaters. They were trading compliments, same with Mone, gosh i had tears in my eyes too.
I am just enjoying this all so much, ofc. as a volunteer I can't ask questionsbut watching how fair and respectful they treat each other is brilliant.
To see Niki again after her break, I have not missed one practice skate of her, she is such a fighter, I hope she will keep skating, she did so much for ice skating in the Netherlands, her programs have so much heart and grace, always one of my favorites!
And hey Barbora is in the final, how cool is that?!
I also enjoyed pairs my god I forgot how close to the boards these lifts can be at times.
Annika still smiling each time I see her, Minerva wow, on and off ice pure class and those NA pairs, absolutely felt their programs in my heart.
Nastya and Luka wow, what a dynamic duo, first time I saw them skate.
No I have to stop now, I am not there as a journalist.
So let's just say, I had a great day, I'm so blessed to experience all of this again.
Is it better than the guy on the skates and camera? That drone is distracting and annoying.
Why do we need it?Is it better than the guy on the skates and camera?
Did I see Anastasia Vaipan-Law with one of your crowns, in her signature greens? She had an armload of gifts by the time she reached the K&C, but it looked like one of your pretty crowns perched on top.Just venting a bit I guess about sudden 3 PM change of bag policy in the arena yesterday, I.e. change to only 1 bag allowed (cue me with my 2nd bag with crowns after ladies SP...).
The whole security experience yesterday, especially during re-entering for Pairs SP made me honestly feel like I do not really want to get back there. No answers when you question security about changing policy on a whim. Hovering over you while you are subjected to pack everything into 1 bag. Plain rudeness.
I will pack today crowns for Pairs in one bag, as per "new rules", but I fully expect them latching onto something again and made my entry tough. Instead of wanting to focus on making the most for skaters, to appreciate them, I'm tired mixed with annoyed about this while organizational experience. But hey, "audience experience" from the tutted agenda probably does not include comfortable security/arena entry protocols...Montreal comparing to this was the dream for me, where bags were also scanned, but overall people manning the security seemed way more rational and approachable.

Hardly noticed it in the arena.Anyone see thst drone at the end of each programme? What is the point of it? To some people there in the arena, it is distracting.
I know wait times have been long but I've heard that the south entrance by section 21/22/23 was open today with no wait, I don't know if that will be true the rest of the event but I would arrive 30-40 minutes early and walk around the venue to see if any other doors are openWe will be there on Saturday. I'm seeing lots of comment on the live threads about people not getting into the rink in time for the start. Is there anyone who has been there who has any estimate of how long before the start we need to get there?

I’m trying to find saved streams of the events. I missed some skaters yesterday and will miss some today. Where are the saved streams for Worlds?Long lines of people but we got in within 20 min wait although we arrived 10 min before doors opened
You can find the complete clmpetition with German VPN on ZDF Mediathek.... look for sportschauI’m trying to find saved streams of the events. I missed some skaters yesterday and will miss some today. Where are the saved streams for Worlds?
As far as I know you'll have to go outI have another silly question: If I have tickets for both afternoon and evening sessions, do I have to go out and re-queue between events or can we stay in the arena?
