Unfortunate about the pops but still a lovely skate from Agne. It always hurts to see junior skaters upset with themselves after a skate.

I would go further and say that that statement goes for any skater.

It is hard to watch the older skaters upset too. Just think of Kévin Aymoz last season.

Oh of course. I'm the first person to tear up anytime a skater is upset. I know how hard all of them work and know how hard they are on themselves.

Everything about that programme from Leyli AKHUNDOVA (AZE) was just beautiful. The black dress with gold pattern; the music ("Palladio"); and the skating.

I think this is her first season competing internationally, because I can't find anything before her Junior GP. But, she has done plenty of B events since then.

She goes into 15th position.

Now that our Junior SP double-bill is over, it is time to start our Senior SP double-bill. And, again, it starts with chaos!

But, there are a few more cacti than earlier. 8 Senior boys.

EDIT: Hang on. The announcer just said somebody has withdrawn. But I didn't catch the name.​

And I just realised. After all the excitement of the past 2 days, there are no Canadians competing in Singles today at all.

I have always liked the Bodensteins. And I still miss Noémie.

But, my goodness, how much has Noah grown since I first saw him? He is so tall now.

I enjoyed that programme.

When his programme started with a clock chiming, I don't think I would have imagined that it was going to be a programme like that.

Not my taste in music at all.

But, it went well for him.

Ho Ho! When we were looking at the results of the Senior Men's SP, and the announcer was finishing off talking about it, some of the girls must have been too keen to get going on their Warm-Up. Because the announcer had to tell them that the Warm-Up had not started and to leave the ice.

Trumpets now.

Massive cheers when Katia was introduced at the start of the Warm-Up.

And then when Nicola ADAMCZYK (POL) was announced straight after her, the Polish fans felt guilty and decided to give her massive cheers too.

But, because they hadn't thought of this sooner, it meant that skater #1, Agnieszka REJMENT (POL), didn't get the same support as the other Polish skaters.

So, I hope the Polish fans make Agnieska feel appreciated when she comes to do her programme.

They did!!!

And they applauded every element. Even when she fell.

When she does it clean, everything about the programme will be beautiful.

What a strange programme for Marina PIREDDA (ITA). I don't know what to make of it.

For that matter, I don't know what to make of her dress either. I wouldn't be keen on the brightest shade of green at the top of it.

But she skated well, and goes into the lead.

Katia threw down the gauntlet to all those still to come right at the start of her programme!

Still hate this version of "Let's Get Loud" with a passion. But, I'm biased because I love Jennifer Lopez, and I thought the film that this Camila Cabello version was from was awful.

But, my goodness, Katia made the most out of it. And more!

I know it's early to be saying this, but it's going to take some skate for anybody to go ahead of her.

New leader. But not by as much as I was expecting.

I have to admit, I am not familiar with Nicola ADAMCZYK (POL). But, that is hardly surprising. According to Rink Results, she has only done 2 competitions outside of Poland, and they were back in 2018.

But, everything about her programme was beautiful. The black dress. The music. And the skating.

I will definitely be keeping an eye out for her in future.

She goes into 5th position.
