Dwayne somebody.

I haven't heard him before, but he is good.

I've been doing a bit of digging around, and it might be Duane Dell'Oca, a general sports commentator from South Africa who is now based in Ireland. He has been working for the OBS for over 12 years, as well as covering various sports for other broadcasters.

Whether it is him or not, I like that this commentator is a proper professional that does his homework beforehand. Not like some of the ones we have had covering figure skating at multi-sports events over the years.

Yes, now that I am listening more carefully, that is definitely a South African accent. So, I'm nearly sure that we have Duane Dell'Oca sitting beside Belinda Noonan.

An Aussie and a South African commentating on figure skating. It just shows how the sport is growing outside it's traditional heartland.

But, they're not wrong! Sofia was great!

This will be right up there with the top skaters.

My stream froze so many times during Teekhree SILPA-ARCHA (THA)

Have to be honest, I didn't like the two versions of "Big Spender" that she used. At least the second version had Shirley Bassey singing, but the re-mixed backing track was awful.

But, I enjoyed everything else about the programme.

And that dress was just stunning!

She goes into 17th position.

Wow super impressed with Tara Prasad!! Her jumps are HUGE and looked very secure!

So confident and commanding too, and all that her own choreography!? Insane!!

We return from the resurfacing to a great skate from Tara PRASAD (IND)!!!

Belinda reckons it is the best skate of Tara's career. And I wouldn't want to argue with that statement.

She goes into 8th position.

Belinda says her 49.17 points is a massive PB, but I just checked and Tara has actually got into the 50's in the SP on three previous occasions. The most recent being at Skate Celje in November. And that was her highest ever score in the SP, with 52.76.

But, we all know how complicated and confusing this PB business is.

I feel that she's marked quite harshly here... I was fully expecting 50+. Yes she doesn't have the speed or skating skills, but those jumps deserved higher GOE in my opinion. And the performance she gave!

I'm glad to see her in the 4CC entries, I hope she can skate as glorious there and get higher marks
