Things are basically unfolding as normal. The ISU doesn't award "temporary" WS points. G/P got their 360 WS points because they came in 2nd at TEB, so they also got their 13 GPF qualifying points…
This seems so straightforward to me. :yes:
And yet…if this is really how the ISU is thinking, there would be no reason not to list the Bompard winners, their placement points and their tie-breaker statuses on the continuing tabulations. This would not compromise the ISU's options to add more places afterward if they wanted to, and it would provide skaters with the "normal" information about how they stand that they have at this point every year.
