don't jinx him and his axis, I'm already spiraling...i hope he keeps it together
The general opinion is that either him, or Junhwan Cha ought to have ended first (and the other, second of course). So happy for Adam. The SP was magnificent, and his axis spot on! Of course I think he should have placed first, because he is my favourite skater. Hope he keeps it together and at the same level in the FS. He's in a great position for a podium place. And I do love his revised costume.
It was actually at the last Olympics that I first became aware of him. I remember there was a high level overview shot of the warm-up practice, and there was something about the way he was moving over the ice that seemed quite special, and made me watch his progress since then. At the time I was only aware of Kevin as an exciting and distinctive French skater, so wondered who this new interesting upstart from France was! He's come a long way over those 4 years.
Adam announces preparation for 2026 Worlds and commits to 4 more years. Fasten your seat belts.
During the women's FS, just after Haein Lee had finished her skate, the camera panned to show Adam sat next to Kimmy Repond and her sister.

I was watching Discovery + I think possibly because they were both laughing, and it wasn't that long after Kimmy's difficult skate. The commentator said who they were too, when it focused on them. That's not what we saw. She's from South Korea. After her skate, the camera panned to another South Korean: Jun-hwan Cha who was waving a South Korea flag. Next to Jun were Yuma, Shun, and Kao Miura. Behind them were some USA skaters. After Alysa skated, the camera panned to Ilia yelling. As well the camera should have. I don't know what country you're in but that would be the weirdest thing to do - pan to a French guy after someone from South Korea skated.![]()

I saw it on the national Eurosport channel, but I think it might be the same feed as Discovery+, just different commentary, in the national language. Adam and Kimmy together on the screen were also warmly welcomed by our commentators so you could not miss them....I was watching Discovery + I think possibly because they were both laughing, and it wasn't that long after Kimmy's difficult skate. the country doesn't matter, the timeline does, did you mess with the Tardis again? should i call the Doctor? That's not what we saw. She's from South Korea. the country doesn't matter
In my feed it was right after Lee's skate. National broadcasters have their own directors and they sometimes show feed of their own athletes instead of what the games' director is showing.I was watching Discovery + I think possibly because they were both laughing, and it wasn't that long after Kimmy's difficult skate. The commentator said who they were too, when it focused on them.
men, we all saw it in thast specific moment, maybe you were distracted or in your toilet breakTell that to the producer who tells the cameraman where to focus. I don't know what goes in Italy, but this is business as usual in the USA when I watch skating.
