i was checking out the USFSA page and I looked at the scores, I was wondering
if the marks are based out of a 6.0 or they are based on a different scale?

Yes, the marks are out of the 6.0 scale. The Adult Bronze level is about equal to the USFSA Preliminary level, the Silver level equal to the Pre-Juvenile level and the gold level about equal to the Juvenile level. So the marks received are generally consistent with test level marks in the adult track. (2.5 to pass the bronze test, 2.7 to pass the silver test and 3.0 to pass the gold test). Hope this helps!
