Alena Kostornaia

She's really working on Pairs elements! This throw 3Lo (sorry if I'm wrong) looks really good, and there's some slow motion:

I'm sorry, it seems that only the stamp-sized photo is working, not the MP4 short video. It's #217701 here:

Looking good.. but it's nothing new, we've seen someting like this a couple of years ago with Erokhov.. ;)

Was it as good? I know nothing to Pairs elements, but this looks so smooth, effortless on both sides but still with a push from her partner, the axis looks perfect and the landing too, I don't know if these are criteria for judging throw jumps?

It wasn't good it was Excellent. That was a first rate triple throw jump. The height, distance and landing she gets is first rate.
One of the best triple throw jumps I have seen from a non pair skater in awhile and I have seen a lot.

That's unfrotunate, it's not very probable they will get married.. 😎
I really hope the greatest happiness to Misha Kolyada, and this implies not divorcing because it's always an ordeal.
Anyway, I suppose she would need a taller skater. Well, there's Cha Junhwan too, but he's not Russian. His quads are less telegraphed and more rotated now that he's back to TCC though, so maybe he wouldn't be benefited by switching to Pairs. But what a beautiful Pair they would make!:love2: The most beautiful people and the most beautiful skating.
There's also Nikolaj Memola, who's growing, but his skating is not quite as beautiful.
Well, sorry, these were just very, very idle thoughts, because I don't know at all what makes that a Pair works or not. Pair skaters are not just two Single skaters skating on the same program.

She would skate with the guy she is practicing with as he broke up with his last partner. I think his name is Kuznitza or something like that
So he's alone? Then she's even more likely to be considering Pairs seriously. I'm not that surprised, because she looks like someone enjoying throws, twists, death spirals and all these Pairs things. I hope he's a kind and considerate partner! She deserves the best!
I found no male Pairs skater whose name looked like Kuznitza, so, if you find his name, I'd like to see how he skates!

Wow, those twists! She seems to be really earnest with Pairs practice.
But who could she skate with, who would match her in quality of skate if she really switches to Pairs? Misha Kolyada already said that he wouldn't skate Pairs unless with his wife.
I think the obvious guy would be Makar Ignatov. The guy is clearly having issues in the Men's division and he's not looking like he's going to get a shot to compete internationally. He's got the height and pairs might require less stamina which is his big issue.

Thank you! So, he's switched to Pairs in 2020/2021, but competed rather little?
I didn't find any embedded video of his as a Single or Pair skater, but he was appreciated?
I wonder who will coach them.

He has been with Moskvina's team. He skated with Team Tut as a singles skater. So Alena would know him from then. Video with prior partner

Thank you! I take the liberty of trying to embed it, or I can't see it:

Edit:
He is indeed a very talented skater, I understand that he switched to Pairs because he had no hope of getting the required number of quads to win internationally? But he must still have excellent triples, and he looks like an excellent spinner like Alyona... With his previous partner they had "only" a double twist too, but the difference in base value with a triple twist is not very high, and nobody does quadruple twists nowadays?
Now, I suppose there is a huge difference between having an element at practice and having a fully operational program, but I'm really excited.
