Yes, you got it. There was a gun pointed at Alyona's head during interview. "C'mon girl, speak about your happiness"
We made those jokes throughout the season, I didn't know somebody would take it seriously
By the way, I consider Alyona the first who would openly speak about her dislike for something. Last season, just around JWC she said something like "I'm bored of my programs already, I'm looking forward for the new ones."
Yeah, no difference between that and saying now "I don't like my programs", none at all
And the upper part... geez. She was asked if she likes her new programs, she said yes - and all I'm saying is that even if she didn't like them, it's unlikely she would have stated that openly (for different, IMO pretty understandable reasons) - and no, this doesn't just go for Eteri skaters, or only girls, or whatever either. I'm not saying she doesn't like them, I'm not saying I know what she thinks, none of that. But I guess actually reading what another person means is too troublesome.
What is pretty sad is if the only thing you can think of in terms of judging a program is "quads & 3A and more transitions". There is a lot more that belongs in that category - a general concept of what is being portrayed, music that shows different highs & lows and conveys an array of emotions/moods and fitting movements (ideally a bit varied throughout the program) that portray that music, create memoreable highlights, all that yadda yadda. But I guess we all have our own standards
