Interesting. Maybe they figured it out that only a couple of married coaches will understand their needs and problems :) Definitely, Jenny must be the opposite of Aljona. I always considered her sweet, calm, tiny, without much character, like a porcelain doll. A type easily influenced by others rather than having her own statement. But they competed in the 90s and my opinion may be biased and based on my thoughts as a teenager. In those times there were much fewer competitions and no Internet or FS forums to see videos, exchange opinions and share ideas. Maybe the reality was diffeent and Jenny was a lioness on the ice :) But if Knierims consider it a correct move, I'm happy for them. I wouldn't like them to be the only pair without a coach. And I don't want to see them alone in the KnC.

BTW, who else do Meno/Sand train? I remember seeing Todd in the KnC last year (I think it was last year) with someone, but I can't remember who they were. And I thought it was only him who was dedicated to coaching.

In 2017 Meno/Sand trained the US pair Chelsea Liu & Brian Johnson: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00054472.htm

I think too, an interesting couple. 20 years ago Jenni and Todd had run for the last time in competition (how quickly you fall into oblivion), and with a bit of surfing you can find pictures of a visually very attractive pair on the ice, which in the middle of the 90s was running high up. Only the very high consecrations were missed - sometimes even very close. At least from a technical point of view, they now much more mature people and should be able to mediate a lot. Whether that is enough nowadays ... whether it is another quick shot for/from the Knierims ... If the message is true at all (I could not find a corresponding message/confirmation), I wish the two couples good luck, they will certainly need it.

Pretty sure Todd was with Courtney Hicks in the K & C a few times, but she is with Kori Ade now. Can't think of anyone else off the top of my head now.

Pretty sure they have Calalang and her new partner Brian Johnson. As well as his former Partner Chelsea liu and her new partner Ian Meyh (Jr, this season but she ages out internationally after this season).

Behind the Kneerims there is a big question mark at the moment, nobody seems to know what is happening right now ...

Tomorrow, in Hiroshima, we will see it. Between a disaster and a 2nd place (behind Zabiyako/Enbert) everything is conceivable. I am very curious ...

Good luck and success!

They are 4th after the SP at NHK. It's a pity Alexa fell on a SBS jump and messed up the final spin. I have a feeling that she seems less confident than many junior ladies and they should do something about it. Otherwise quite a strong and nice performance. And it's good to see them with a coach in the KnC.

After everything that's happened this season, they probably don't need a coach, they need a supermotivator. The potential is there, but something is going on that is preventing it from unfolding. Actually no wonder, because there was just too much screwing around. Hopefully it won't go on like this, even if the 4th place is anything but a broken leg.

It does seem to be that they are having a confidence crisis, and is it any wonder with all these changes that have been made in such a short time. I was happy to see Todd in the Kiss and Cry with them. No matter what else happens, I hope they can be happy with their free skate tomorrow, even if it isn't perfection.

I love them so much, but they make me so nervous I have to watch from between my fingers that are over my eyes....and now happy happy!
