Mishin's summer camp to be held in Erzurum Turkey this coming July has been cancelled. They may relocate it to Pinzolo, Italy.

"Before the start of the current season skaters Mishin laid functional training in a mountain resort in Erzurum. On Thursday, the Ministry of Sports of Russia recommended to revise the plans for training activities in Turkey or reschedule previously scheduled.

"In July, my group was scheduled to collect in Erzurum, this is a great mountain place to gather before the start of the season, but we will listen to the recommendations of the Ministry of Sport and we will follow them. We have a tentative agreement on the organization of the collection with the host country, and now they will be canceled ", - said Mishin by telephone, adding that the gathering may be held in the mountain of Italy.

On Tuesday, Syria crashed Russian Su-24 bomber. The plane was shot down by a rocket-type "air-air" to the Turkish F-16s over the Syrian territory in Syria and fell four kilometers from the border with Turkey. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier about the rise of terrorist threats in Turkey, because of which the Russians are not recommended to visit this country for any purpose. "

Edit:

FYI, the upcoming winter camp is scheduled for Jan 4-10 in Tartu Estonia.

Going, but going where... Sasha and his mysterious ways. Maybe it amuses him to let people live in suspense, wondering what he is up to...
Yes, he probably did it in jest.
When he wants people to know, he geotags his location.

According to Aleksey Erokhov ask.fm page Alexander competed in Belgorod and took 2nd place with 217 points. I have no idea what exactly it was, I just tried to google it and found this http://belgorodtv.ru/?p=89426 (Cup of Mishin?) Mishin's Artur Dmitriev also competed there and won

When was the competition? Dmitriev was performing with Kings on Ice on the 25th (or was it 24th?).
Looks like it was Cup of Mishin, some of the younger skaters from Mishin's group went there too.
Thanks for the info.

Mishin apparently sent Sasha, Dmitriev, Perederova and other lower tier skaters there.

Erokhov scored 70+ for his SP and was third after the SP, so I assume Sasha was above that.
217 for his total is low, lower than the 219 from Samara. His FS TES was possibly below 70 then. :ohwell:

That IS low for him. But somehow I can't bother stressing now that there is no video or protocols because the problem might be in many small things and all the harder elements might be allright. You never know…

Yes, it's an unimportant competition.
I'm more curious to know how long it took him to travel to Belgorod...

Maybe what happened to him is that they went for the quad and it slipped or something and because of that he basically had a fall on a triple and that lead to his concentration to break. (Or he forgot to do a jump, wouldn't be the first time. Although that would be unlikely) But without any video or protocols or even his points from the free, we can't know anything for sure.

Your first explanation seems to be the most likely.
There are videos but not of Sasha, yet. I will continue to look out for any.

SP: 80.91 (42.51+38.40)
LP: 136.61 (63.51+76.10) 3 falls.
No protocols.
And now I need video.

Okay now I really really hope they went for the quad because if not, that's horrible
Maybe he needed another "Nice" to produce another "Skate Canada" later on?
Of course I'm hoping he went for the quad too because at some point he has to get it out there. The very first attempt is always the hardest.

As far as I can tell, Mishina wasn't at Belgorod. Mishin as we know is in Warsaw. So Sasha had neither of his coaches with him. Tataurov is in Germany for NRW Trophy. Having seen all the results, none of the students from Mishin's school did particularly well. Dmitriev won of course but 226 with 3 quads is not great either.

At least Sasha finally broke 80 for his SP. No quad in the SP of course, so 42 TES is very good.
But the LP needs a LOT of work.

That's true, but I was mostly just counting the falls and if one of them was in a quad it wouldn't be as bad…

Yes I agree.
I would also be interested to see what kind of falls they were. Anyway, we need video. *fingerscrossed*
