"World Champion Elizaveta Tuktamiševa comes to Sarajevo Open
Union of skating sports Bosnia and Herzegovina from 4 to 7 February at the Olympic Hall "Juan Antonio Samaranch" (ether) for the third time in the International Competition Figure Skating "Sarajevo Open 2016".
The competition is of the highest rank and included in the official calendar of the International Skating Union (ISU). According to the director of the competition Sabine Husedžinović, for this year's "Sarajevo Open" has so far registered 86 male and female skaters in senior and junior competition from 15 European and Asian countries (Armenia, Czech Republic, France, Croatia, Italy, Korea, Cyprus, Germany, Romania, Russia, Slovenia, Serbia, Switzerland, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina).
"The competition is organized thanks to the great efforts of the Union and support the International Skating Union." Sarajevo Open "will judge the 16 international judges with ISU's license and the points which contestants win will be counted for world ranking list. This year the competition has even greater importance of taking part current World Champion Elizaveta Tuktamiševa, as for the Alliance as the organizer of an honor," said Husedžinović.
Apart from World Champion arrival were reported and Kristina Astakhova (silver in University of Granada, 2015), Alexei Rogonov (vice champion of the world 2009),
Aleksandr Petrov (junior champion of Russia) and others. With them come the four best coaches of Russia - Artur Dmitriev (silver medalist in Winter Olympics in Nagano, a former European champion, and in 1991 and 1992 was the world champion), Alexei Mishin (silver at the world championship) and Sergei Komolov and Tatjana Prokofeva .
Secretary General of the Union in skating sports BiH Vladimir Kezunović said that "the Alliance through this competition for a number of years trying to restore the dignity of the Olympic spirit of Sarajevo and promote skating sports in our country".
Bosnia and Herzegovina have the "Sarajevo Open" will be represented by seven skaters, Senior Ariana Tirak, junior Alma Sehic, and five girls - Tara Michelle Gliha, Larisa Tomic, Zara Husedžinović, Hena Uzunović and Lana Galijašević."
