Alexander Petrov

The entire Russian team will arrive at 5.40pm in Moscow from Vienna. From Moscow, the SPB guys will probably take a flight back home. So at this point, Sasha is probably already in Vienna waiting for his flight. I hope he gets some good rest after returning home because he has to fly off the very next day.

Well, what was it Papa Mishin said? "Rest in our dreams" or something? He really meant it... ;)

On the other hand, this will give them a few days before the comp, yes?

"Mishin about the performance of his pupil at the European Championship - Very satisfied. He showed that he belongs to the category of athletes who are able to showcase the skills in training that they developed. All my athletes who won medals at World and European championships, they differed. They showed in competition what they are capable of doing."

There was a warm welcome for Liza and the rest of Mishin's team at the airport earlier today. They were presented with flowers. Sasha only appears (in the background) of two pictures but that's better than no pics.
