Youtube is taking down/has taken down videos from JWs. But they are still on Dailymotion and I have a copy backed up too so no worries.

Every time I pop by a thread about an event he's skated in, there's always some rubbish written about Sasha. Doesn't matter which forum either.

I don't even know why I bother anymore.

Well, rubbish is easy to write.

Bomb went off in the SPB subway system a few hours ago.

Sasha is active on instagram so I guess he is okay.

It's very sad but this is the unfortunate reality that we live in today.

Unbelievable. They showed the warm-up uninterrupted - no sooner does the skater start to skate, but the stream starts freezing, and ads start popping up. I hope I actually get to see some of Sasha's skate.

I recorded the entire skate and the entire warm-up but I messed up the part where he took his bow.
Anyway, they will upload the video onto the ustream site.

Fell on quad, landed other stuff. Spin maybe got downgraded. 75++. First place I think. Anyway, no lower than second.

Someone decided it was a good idea to bring a howling baby to watch the men skate. Really, that parent and her infant should have been removed from the arena.

Well, I did see Sasha's skate - though "see" is a relative term, of course, especially since I didn't dare watch in full screen. Well, he fell on his first jump, which I will presume was a quad, then landed a clean 3A, and (I believe) lutz combo in the later part of the program. He had 75 points something and is 2nd - presumably after Lazukin (whom I missed; I started watching much later).

Ah, here's Sasha's SP uploaded already, so no one needs to rely on my shoddy eyesight;) :

Ah, good - didn't see your posts before writing mine; should have updated the thread before posting.:)

Rewatching, and he did have a little stumble in the stepsequence - can that have affected something?

I'm not in the best of physical conditions so that's it from me for today.

Protocols will be interesting to analyze. That's if they do upload it.
