So sad for our emotional and fierce Alex K. Like everyone else, we can only  that it is not too serious and fro a full recovery.

Get well soon, Alex :ghug:

Does anyone know what happened? Sorry, I was combing through the Jr. Men thread and don't find anything other than the fact that he injured himself? Did he take a bad fall? I see too it says they took him to the hospital. That doesn't sound too good. :sad4: :ghug:

He fell on a 4S attempt. And he caught his leg on the ice and kept twisting, AFAIK. So sad:(

Poor Alex - he looked to be in so much pain in the video I saw.

So unfortunate this happened, b/c the title was his for the taking. At least this happened at the end of the season so he has ample time to recover. Get well soon!

I couldn't follow free skating today and this evening when I had a quick look to see the results and I haven't seen his name there I thought something serious had happened.

I do hope he can recover soon and will be back for next season.

Thx for the info el henry - sounds very painful. Darn, and he probably would have had a good skate! Hope he's ok and can bounce back as good as new!

Just saw this in FSU, first the Letovs were co-coaching, and now they’re his only coaches?

And according to IG stories, it evidently was not amicable. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t know if this is a good move for Alexei. I love what the Cains were able to do for him on the performance side. Oh well, here’s hoping for the best:)

The Letovs coach a bunch of skaters including Hanna Harrell and Emily Chan. And they used to coach Vivian Le. But I can't think of any men they've coached.

Emily Chan has some of the best skating skills in the biz (despite her jump problems). And Vivian Le's sky high toe jumps came from them too. And Hanna has lovely jumps and 3-3 as well.

Thanks for the info, and for describing the junior ladies as well as listing their names. Since I know as much about junior ladies as I do about quantum physics, that was helpful:agree:

The other board, and some IG posts, implied there was some :drama:with this decision. But since it sounds like the Letovs also prize skating skills and artistry, let's hope this is a good move for Alexei.:)
