I talked to him two days ago. Naturally, words can't tell feelings. For me and for my family Denis is not just a skater from Kazakhstan, we got ties for different reasons. We've been crying all day long, because we really can't believe, that such a thing has happened. I know his parents, I used to spend much time with his mom, when I visited Kazakhstan. It isn't like we lost a skater from Kazakhstan, I've lost a part of myself. Like a grief in my family. I really hope, that those beasts who did it, will bear the whole responsibility for this.
I think you have talked to his parents. Was there a chance, that his life could be saved?
Y: I haven't talked. A man who works in safety in Kazakhstan, phoned me, he is the first who told it me. I know almost every minute of it. This is a tragedy indeed. To hell with those mirrors, cars. One can earn, can save up money. But this is a life of a human being...
What was he like?
Y: You know, people say, that athletes are not smart, and it is true, because they give their lives for the goals they try to reach. Denis was not only an athlete who achieved certain success due to his work, but he also was educated, intelligent and multitalented. Because he wrote music, he was talented for choreography and he had many ideas for the future, we often talked about them. So it's not just a robot that was an athlete and won medals, he was an awesome guy. And today we have lost this guy.

TAT: He is an outstanding boy. He was so talented, that he could win any medals. He was very talented and hardworking, he loved his work. What is very rare. That's all.

She gave birth, nurtured, raised, taught, directed, supported, punished, encouraged, always near and for the sake of ..., but some beast decided that here and now he has the right to deprive this boy of life... Good evening everyone. Thank you very much, that you are our guests today. Before we will start our theatrical, we ask for a minute of your attention. We all know fully well, that we live and, actually, never know what can happen tomorrow. Yesterday in Almaty, in Kazakhstan, Denis Ten came to a tragic end, the bronze medalist of the Olympics which took place here in Sochi. I guess one could say many words about this athlete, but I guess we have lost a person - first of all. All the figure skaters who knew him, always noted his kindness and sincerity, because he was such a person indeed. We all know fully well, that perfect people don't exist, but he is a bright example which shows one can be almost perfect. With your permission we would like to honour memory of our young brother and hold a moment of silence. Thank you. ... Thank you.
