Since we are killing time, I found a video called "Before PyeongChang 2018" about the 2014-2018 quad. Alina only features at the end, but I thought it was the perfect place. The rest of the video was tragic :( but Alina is the happy ending. :)

Yup I’m interested in the men’s event but my stream is not showing anything (fingers crossed the guy didn’t go to sleep on me).

I totally get it, that was my way of forgetting about this pre competition anxiety, watching old videos and constantly reminding myself just how amazing Alina is [emoji4]

On a totally different note, today my boyfriend proposed to me and I was so eager to share this with you because it happened here, on our city break in Vienna, while we were skating, even tough I am not so good at it, he knows I simply love it with all my heart [emoji4] and after the entire event, when he asked me again...are you sure?[emoji16] I told him, yes, I am so sure as I am about the fact that Alina is the best lady skater from this planet. And this was the most convincing answer I could give him [emoji4]

Clean skate, but Alina looked really tired before and after. :(

But she is smiling! :biggrin: I think she saw Dogvitova!
 
Just watched Alina and i gotta say I am in tears! She seemed so tired, it's no wonder because now it's like 5 in the morning in Moscow, however she successfully completed all her routine! Our girl is a fighter and I am so proud of her! [emoji173][emoji173][emoji173]
 
Our Golden Girl beat that tired face and that jet leg and had a clean skate!!

I'm so proud of her and of what she did today, she even smiled at the end when she saw Dogitova being dragged through the ice.

It's worth the 4 hours of sleep I'm going to get just now before I move on to the next day.

She was beautiful on the ice and she did everything clean which is what I was wishing for, the rest is the rest.

She is currently in second place and will now get some much deserved rest to fight on to the FS in a very good position (I would have given her 78 or 79 myself but just shy of my first pick is super). Edited to remove the actual score because of the Competition rules.

Alina, we love you, our love is larger than Dogitova and Ownlina and all the giant stuffed animals in the world. You are more than numbers on the board, you are heart, you are soul, you are talent and watching you skate for 3 min is worth more than a whole night of sleep.

Enjoy the day tomorrow and keep on bringing your magic to the ice because we love to see it.
 
Goal of our girl this season is to skate clean. And she had a clean skate today, beautiful as always.
 
She seemed slow and tired today, even sick :( I hope she gets a rest and a really good meal. Doesn’t matter the results, I just want to see her healthy and smiling.
 
I don't know what some people are panicking for, she skated clean!

A bit nervous and focussed on the jumps but almost 78 is no bad score '_'

Everybody should be proud
 
For me, it's not her medals what's important, but her smile. If she's happy, I'm happy. And Alina will be happy if she will know that she did everything she could.

I almost didn't sleep waiting for it (Afraid of lose the time...) but you know? it TOTALLY worth it!! Watching her on ice is always a pleasure!
You guys are talking like she has no chance of win it..And she still having chances! She has better FS scores than Rika..And who knows? Maybe Rika feels the pressure, I do honest not wish it, but it is a sport and the best of any sport is that everything can happen!:agree: And Alina has great scores and more experience...So who knows!! I believe :luv17::luv17::luv17::luv17:

Medals are important because I want to see her happy!!! So let's keep the fingers crossed and not talking like losers!


And just to finish, is amazing to see Alina growing as an atlete! She is controling her emotions, she is maintaining her winner stance! She skated clean ever after see Rika's high score. That is an amazing opportunity for her to gain more and more experience.

Let's always keep positive! She is a winner! And if she does not be the 1th tomorrow who cares...she has the olympic's gold!!! hahaha :yahoo:

And is she looking tired? Who isn't tired with that f.... vancouver's time??? it's a nightamare :shrug:
