He said he read the experts comments on GS, understood that he and Eteri was wrong and now they knows what to do with Alina further

I overslept and missed the gala. :bang:
It figures.

The gala is the one thing I always want to see live.

Well, this whole week has been topsy-turvy.
Euro Ladies SP on a Wednesday.
And US Nationals - the men's LP is today, Sunday.
Weird schedules.

BTW - is the picture of Alina with Javier Fernandez from today or is it a previous photo?
 
I know this season is almost over and that Alina has a lot of pressure on her each time she skates, but do you think there might also be a problem with the layout of her free skate program that may contribute problems too? Her short had been going well but her free seems to be the mosquito.

I don't really know.

Even though her SP has had problems at times, Alina has definitely looked more comfortable with it.

But maybe its just the nature of the LP being longer & having more jumping passes.
More opportunities for "negative thoughts" or mechanical issues to show up.

Alina has a great team behind her, a team full of strong people who want nothing else for her but to be happy and successful. And this part of Daniil's comment : Not everything is going well but we all want our Olympic champion to skate for many seasons ahead right? shows their clear target: to make sure Alina will be skating at the highest level for many, many more seasons to come.

Yes, they are working on some things, and this is a season for adjustments, because this is what FS is: continuous development and adjustment. And this how a champion goes through an adjustment season: winning only gold and silver medals in all her international competitions, doing her best in every situation and learning from every experience. She kept her head up, stayed on top even during this difficult times, so I am sure of this: for Alina, the best is yet to come.

And to do the same jumping passes that were disasterous for her in the LP.
