Alysa Liu

Here is more detail from (I think) an outfit that keeps track of such endorsement deals on behalf of the NFL. Not many details about the actual contract, but it does look like a monster deal.

No information yet about what an Alysa Liu Rolex watch will cost. Rolexes start at about US$ 7000 (slumming) up to Paul Newman's personal model which sold at US$ 17,000,000.

I better start saving!

(I will keep it next to my Kristi Yamaguchi Snow Globe, original price $12.95 with the purchase of three Hallmark greeting cards.) :)

I didn't mean to post under Alysa's FF as I was replying to the post in Edge.

They also posted this.

Good for her if it's true, though...

When I saw all the artists thanking AL and what was happening to music sales, I was zero surprised. (The article above about someone actually talking some sense and feeding dollars into Figure skating with coordination of music and what skating can do for it and visa versa , with the possible end of the 48 hour stream was heartwarming. I would be warmer if someone said to NBC "48 hours after the original broadcast, which you have the rights to, ISU youtube has the right to bring it to the world.")
The Rolex deal was a shocker...how are they gonna make back investment and interest on $40M???? There must be alot of very rich people who can not find better causes for their money than branded watches?????
It makes sense to me that Yuna Kim hawks ladies CD items but obviously Rolex thinks they can ride the wave.
Chris who gives money to skating and animal shelters and environmental causes

Unfortunately, I just googled it (because I forgot to check the source to begin, and I just realized this source is not a particularly reliable one), and I can't find anything that confirms the Rolex deal. Can someone share a better source?

Keep trying. Good luck.

Keep trying.
To get a source on the Rolex deal, that the link says was announced around 19 March, and yet no one mentioned it before, even on the thread dedicated to keeping track of Alysa's public appearances? And the only source is by someone called "bebe" on "uncategorized" on this NFL website?

I wish others would too.

Yeah, the site seems to be phony baloney. Here's how Google describes it:

NFLInsight360 is a website that publishes sensationalized, often-unverified NFL news stories and rumors, frequently targeting Detroit Lions fans with clickbait headlines on social media. It is widely considered a source of fake or misleading news, often featuring fabricated stories about players, owners, and officiating..."

I think we have been duped. :(

I never believed the Rolex story to begin with. I think it's funny how some people from another fan thread are obsessing over it.

Yeah, I think if it were true, then we'd be getting it in some sort of proper news channel, given the gravity of a 40 mil USD deal.

What clued me in was the wording:

In a move that has sent shockwaves through both the luxury watch industry and the global sports community, Rolex has officially announced the appointment of Alysa Liu as its newest—and youngest ever—Global Ambassador.

If it were official, then you'd expect better sources to take it up.

An Instagram user creates a very Alysa tribute to Hana Yoshida retirement:
