YEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS! Kim and Chip win! I was bawling so hard when they won....anybody winning but Colin and Christine would make me happy, but Chip and Kim were nice people.

I felt so sorry for Nicole when she tried to bike down the snowy mountain. Nothing was going right and she began to hysterically cry. Brandon, bless his heart, was so patient and calm with her.

I snickered when Colin's plan of having a personal driver, who was driving very recklessly, imo, didn't pay off. They still got 2nd.

I hope that driver lost his job!! That was beyond stupid and very reckless to be driving like that. If they would have won after that, oh gosh........

And I was STOKED for Chip and Kim to win!! They have been faves of mine this entire race and it was so exciting to see them get to the end first! Oh my gosh, karma was working indeed....against Colin and Christie, LOL  And I cried too when they found out they won because they ran a fabulous race, didn't compromise their beliefs, and enjoyed themselves the entire time too. That is a great way to run the race and I am SO happy for them!! :D

I am also proud of the bowling moms. Geesh, I know I couldn't have climbed up that cliff thing......WOW!! I am so impressed by them.

Are you kidding? Brandon was completely insensitive and a big jerk about the bike riding!! First, he made them change from the obviously better luge choice (they have frequently chosen the poorer Roadblock choice thoughout the race), after they'd already started toward the luge. Then, he ignores Nicole's obvious discomfort with her bike (on a course that requires skill, you really need to be comfortable with the equipment). Once they start down the course, he speeds ahead just saying "Just ride, just do it, it's ok" without even looking back at her. When she started really having problems, he glosses over it "Just finish, just do it". It was only when she had a completely Flo (TAR 3) - like meltdown does he see that they should just do the other option. I'm not really a fan of Nicole's, but in this case I felt sorry for her.

But who cares about that, CHIP & KIM WON!!!!!!!!   Wahoo!! I was jumping up and down in my living room as the race was ending. This was the first time that one of my favorite teams won - usually my fave team ends up either 3rd or 4th. Wheeeee!

What an incredible finale!!

If Colin & Christie had won, I would have totally lost faith in the universe at large... :D Tho if they had, they should have definitely cut in that psychotic cab driver for about $10,000.....

Loved the luge challenge, I have always wanted to do that. I'm glad that Chip & Kim got through it with minimal damage, because Chip is not exactly built for the aerodynamics required for that sort of thing.... I was also thinking it would have been amusing to make them put on ice skates and try to trace a reasonably decent school figure......

So, last season, Chip & Reichen, this season, Chip & Kim... Hmmm.... Is there a trend here??

Anyone know when Amazing Race 6 is supposed to start? Entertainment Weekly listed it as a regular season show to be shown on Saturdays.

They were on a talk show this morning. The women looked so beautiful with their hair and makeup done.

Colin proposed to Christie! He even got down on bended knee!

Loving this show. Loving it even more now that Chip and Kim won.

I know now why this show won an Emmy.

Ugh. I want a permanent ban on horrid reality couples proposing on tv. Wanna propose on tv? Go sign up for the Bachelor! If it ain't a dating show, keep your proposals to yourself!!!

I watched this morning & typically Colin. He had to make a tv production of proposing & taking the spotlight off of Chip & Kim. I noticed that with the application of heavy makeup how lovely Christie looked. I saw last night in the closeups (sans makeup) that her skin is very lumpy, bumpy. Not attractive at all. She should do some before & after ads for a makeup manufacturer. Colin still looks creepy to me. Another point of interest for me on last night's show was Nicole stating that she loved Brandon more than ever while he stated he was having doubts as to whether they were right for each other. I'm so happy a truly deserving couple like Chip & Kim won.

Colin's a tv hog. I hope Nicole isn't putting all her hopes in Brandon because I don't think he feels the same.

ARE YOU KIDDING????? THAT was some priceless television. I felt NO sympathy for her. At. all. She wasn't even TRYING to ride the bike. I realize it wasn't the easiest thing, but there was just no effort there at all. She reminds me of my 9th graders who quit the second things get the slightest bit difficult. Bleah. I would've pushed her down the hill, not carried her down on my back. But I'm evil that way.

Laura :)

Only watched the final episode because I heard they were filming in Calgary. Did not matter to me who won.

As I said, I usually felt like Nicole was a big whiner - I think I was just on her side because once again, the God Squad starts off doing the sensible Roadblock, then halfway there, Brandon decides HE wants to do the other task (even though it's the strategically stupid choice), and then doesn't pay attention to what is happening, just that he's having fun. I was so annoyed at his continued boneheaded racing that I was willing to overlook the meltdown - just this once, though, I swear!!! :D

Re: Christie - I think she's very lovely. I didn't see the Early Show, but I saw pics of her at the Emmy Awards, and I think she looks way, way better without makeup. Maybe makeup smooths her skin tone out, but the overall "look" is really bad. She's pretty enough without it.

I was happy for Chip and Kim too. I really wanted the Bowling Mom's to make it to the the last leg of the race.
