Anastasia Mishina & Aleksandr Galliamov

So great to see them. I can´t wait to see them skate in the team event. We still don´t know who will skate in the TE, right? But I can´t imagine M/G won`t skate in it.
yes, the team event line up is yet to be announced! However, I've got no doubts. MG will be in the team event but from what I've heard, they will likely share it with TM.

Really? I actually thought Russia would split dance and ladies. Well probably it wouldn´t be too bad, so Nastya and Sasha won´t be too tired for the individual.

I think everyone wanted ladies and dance to be split but pairs being split gets Eteri an extra medal so the federation would go with it 🤷‍♀️

Good luck for tomorrow, Mishki! Sending you positive thoughts.

So, if you please, how does "Mishki" become short for Mishina and Galliamov?

I am not going to try to learn Russian when I have access to wonderful people in this forum who will translate what I want to know ... but I am curious. :)

I don´t care what anyone else is saying. They were great and I love them. 🥰 They are so young and are already so consistent. They have still so much time left, even if they won´t win pairs this time.
What is everyone saying? They didn't win over the Chinese, which is fair. Although they should win the tech and lose in components, same as with T/M, but for some reason things are scored back to front. That's hardly Nastya and Sasha's fault though.

I am so relieved they managed to keep their nerves under control. Must have been hard without Moskvina there. Gives me hope for the individual event.

Someone is saying, they skate like juniors and are inferior. But not for me. Perhaps they can´t match S/H`s artistry, yet. But for me, they are special in their own way.

Yes, I have been a fan of Nastya since she was fifteen and skated with Mirzoev in a green dress. She's developed a lot, and so did Galliamov. They are progressing all the time, including in components, and there is no reason to think they won't progress further. They are still young. And the way they have shown themselves to be able to perform under pressure makes me optimistic about their future.

I´m proud of them. They did, what they could. Were S/H better today? I don´t know, because I am biased. But I loved, what M/G showed. It will probably not be enough for the gold in pairs, but S/H are at the end of their careers and M/G only at the beginning. They have so much time left and they are already amazing. As a fan I´m only excited, what they will bring the next cycle.
