The second show program for Tutberidze's show. It is called “Bumer” (a popular name for a BMW car in Russia). Here Andrei appears in a really unusual image of a comedic local hooligan, who spends his time driving his favorite car and flirting with girls.
I want to say that this is a really cool number and a really new Mozalev, not the way we are used to seeing him. He is full of humor, self-irony, enjoys every moment, he knows how to play such a character. He really gets a kick out of this number.
Maybe that's what we were talking about when we advised Andrei to try something new. The idea for this program was Tutberidze's. Eteri forced Andrei out of his comfort zone, and you know, he's very happy.
I'm just delighted. The entire figure skating community in Russia has taken notice of this new image of Andrei and is actively discussing it. In a way, this is the main event in his growth over the last year.
