Yeah, season 1 is planned to have 13 episodes.
I believe it's still on going even in Japan, with the latest episode 10 airing on Sunday 9 Mar. So the rest of the world is at episode 10 too
I've watched till the latest episode, and while I enjoy it, I can't help but questioning some parts, especially about the technical levels.
Hikaru landed a 3A as a Novice B!? Has that actually happened anywhere in the world (other than Russia)? And is that jump even allowed in the rules of Novice B competition
Also I get that this is meant to be a light-hearted anime, but I wish it weren't focusing so much on the skaters getting medals (becoming a 'medalist') but rather on enjoying the skate itself. Especially when they mention Olympics, there are very limited Olympic spots and so many great skaters in Japan. No matter how hard working and talented you are, many are going to miss out... These kids need to know their worth is not just based on medals or Olympics.

All 3 skaters landed up to 3Lz but did not attempt 3A or quads.
This Anime is quite faithful to the Manga.Still I'm enjoying the series

While season 2 was yet to be announced, original material is enough volume to make it.

Yup, I flinched a few times. But then it's anime, my favs are one about a baby alien with a tail who is chasing orange balls and about a bunch of loosers travelling in space in a vehicle that belongs to the junkyard and the smartest of them is a corgi. I don't expect it to be real.Maybe it's just me being too serious

If you liked the video, BTS including them both talking plus Yuzu skating the vid as a full SP is to be broadcast in like 12 minutes in YouTube, quite a huge crowd waiting there already but I guess it will be available there for delayed watching too!oh my gosh the music video is gorgeous ! Yuzu looks amazing as always and the song was so enchanting! I def need to watch this, it looks so cute <3

At the opening ceremony on Thursday the 17th, Natsumi Haruse, who plays the role of Inori Yuitsuka, will be in charge of announcing the event!

WTT opening ceremony today was not just hosted by Inori, but it opened with junior skaters from Tokyo Junior Skating Club (boys and girls) skating their group program to Bow and Arrow, ending with Yuzuru Hanyu's closing pose from the music video

I went nuts when I recognized the Medalist OP at WTT. I didn’t know they would use it! I’m so happy for the mangaka who created Medalist; they are living the dream

Bow And Arrow will be published as CD/DVD/BlueRay on June 11, as a double A-side shared with Plazma, another hit by Kenshi Yonezu. It will contain all the different versions of the music video, the anime opening version, the one with Kenshi and Yuzuru, and the one with just Yuzuru skating.

As the CD/DVD with Bow and Arrow / Plazma was released today, an interview with Kenshi Yonezu was published today in which he is talking, among other things, about how and why he got involved with The Medalist, why he fell in love with the manga, and later with the anime, what it all meant to him in this point in life, on his collaboration with Yuzuru, etc. Very interesting. In Japanese but you can use an online translation tool
