I can see both sides. I know that my hair is very fine and thin and hair spray just won't do it for me. Of course, clips would never stay in. Maybe they should invest in some kind of snood that will stay on. I can't even get curlers to stay in.

My favorite hair to make fun of was Tara--with her little clippies and the scrunchie wrapped around her bun--yeah, that's really elegant, Tara...

I also hated Sarah's hair--it looked like she was trying too hard to be Dorothy Hamil.

I'll definitely second Doggygirl's nomination for the "Rusty Comb Award". I love Plushenko as a skater, but I miss the short haired Evgeny from 98. Unless COP starts to reward extra PCS or GOE scores for mullets, I say please cut it!
I generally tend to prefer the classic bun look. Michelle usually looks so elegant and fabulous this way, but I wouldn't mind seeing her try something a little different before she leaves the eligible ranks. LOL, but, I say she should probably focus more on fine tuning her programs for COP rather than spending too much time on alternate hairstyles. I also liked Kerrigan's hair in a bun.
Others hairstyles I enjoyed: Kristi's ponytail......I just don't think she would have been the same Kristi without it in her amateur days. I also like Tanith Belbin's hair.......and for shorter hair I'd go with Sarah and Irina's.

I really liked Natalia Mishkuteunok's short hair that she wore during the 93-94 season, unique and stylish... but she had the perfect face to go with, perhaps not for everyone...

I usually don't like buns with all hair pulled back tightly... but the exception of Anjelika Krylova... it really showcases her lovely face.
