Best Ladies SP

Michelle Kwan--Romanza (among the first of her competitive SPs) and Spartacus at Nationals (the next to last, in competition). It is a testament to the greatness and longevity of Michelle's career.

My favorites:
1. Stephanie Rosenthal 2006 U.S. Nationals SP to "Rockit" - Fantabulous!!
2. Sasha Cohen 2006 Olympic SP to "Dark Eyes"
3. Mao Asada's current SP to "Claire de Lune" at GP Final
4. Mirai Nagasu 2008 Nationals SP to "I Got Rhythm"
5. Jenny Kirk 2004 Nationals SP to "Chicago"
6. Bebe Liang 2008 SP to "Sorcerer's Apprentice"

Isn't it Sasha's LP? Anyway, it's a masterpiece. My favorite "Swan Lake"!

My favorite SPs are pretty much all of Sasha's, Michelle's and Mao's.

Sasha: Sentimental Walts, Malaguena, Dark Eyes
Michelle: Romanza, East of Eden, DOD, Rachmaninoff
Mao: Nocturne, Fantasy for Violin and Orchestra, Clair de Lune
Yes, it is Sasha's LP. Also, her outfit was just beautiful. It never came across on TV as beautiful as it was. I saw her at Skate Canada.

I would like to add my support to gio's pick of Yu Na Kim with Tango de Roxanne if that is the one she did during the Grand Prix season in the fall of 2006. I was blown away with the grace and flow of that program. I also agree with vlaurend about Stephanie Rosenthal and Mirai Nagasu.

I would like to add the SP that Jenni Vahamaa did at Finlandia 2007 to O Mio Babbino Caro, it was lovely and well performed.

Irina Slutskaya - Serenade

Sasha Cohen - Dark Eyes
My Sweet and Tender Beast

Michelle Kwan - Spartacus (the music just sends me...:thumbsup:)

You're welcome! :)

That was Swan Lake.

Can someone help me with those titles?

Thomas, '88 Olympic SP: "Something in My House" Dead or Alive
Witt, '87 World's SP: "In the Mood" Glenn Miller (but a rather bizarre arrangement)

hehe :agree:

About Witt's "In the Mood", that seems a pop/disco version of it.

Yes, the middle of the program is where it really deviates from the original. The beginning and end sound like the arrangement as written by Miller.
