Brian Joubert

No, there had a beautiful dance from Christophe Licata (the dancer of Nathalie)and his wife and this group number. The concert was not made for solo performances, the only song was given to the Licata.

Brian was relieved of ending his career with a good performance at the OG. After that, things have been a whirlwind for him: first, DWTS, then galas in Russia and Japan, without a single day off.

He still takes training (for galas) quite seriously, but he feels much more cool and relaxed now, because the life of a competing skater is so demanding. He forces himself to train regularly , but he doesn't care anymore about his weight.

He's not been in Poitiers from September till January. He thought he would enjoy his family, and he couldn't. On the other hand, his new life feels very exciting and interesting, more so because it won't go on like this for long.
He intends to skate in exhibitions for 2-3 years. Life on tour is very tiring, moving from town to town, sleeping on the bus... but he knows he'll miss that when it's over. Furthermore, it pays well.

After that, he wants to become a coach, He's already started the course, it will take three years because of the galas [he's required to teach 1,200 hours before he can obtain his brevet], he wants to open a school in Poitiers and help people skate there like he was able to do.

He didn't attend any competitions this year, but he rooted for his teammates and he wishes success for all of them.

Wow, this is great!:cheer: I wonder if we'll see Brian in Kiss&Cry with Romain next season? And is Romain going to move to Poitiers to practice. And how is Brian going to combine his shows and coaching.... so many questions.:biggrin:

I'm just asking who had the idea to have Morozov ? really, a year ago, he was Machiavel for Gailhaguet and now, not ? :drama:
About Brian, perharps at the beginning, it will be only sessions ? because there's a summer training with him organized for the public in Poitiers in August

That's so adorable! (And thanks for thinking of me.;)) And the earnest look on Johnny's face too... It definitely looks as if he is discussing Life, the Universe and Everything... ;) :)
 
It's so nice to return to the Brian thread after a long absence and have things to catch up on <3 The 'Missing' performance was really great, really nice emotion <3

And he's starting to coach! Yay! But wait, is he co-coaching with Morozov?

Joubert is coaching Ponsart and Morozov is his choreographer.

I'm sure they will collaborate at some point though. :)

I am more interested in the costume, maybe he will try some style of curtains lol.
