I’m here, and may I say, I simply don’t understand the fascination Samson & Delilah holds for young Canadian ice dancers. Have none of them ever heard of Davis and White?

Davis and White do not own exclusivity on this... I would think many Canadian skaters (including Gabby Daleman) got inspired by this particular performance

I was thinking all through that that this must be something out of IAM Ontario. Not only did Tessa & Scott absolutely rock the Floyd in all-black “practice-wear” type costumes back in the day, but watching him reminds me a bit of Anthony Ponomarenko.

Well, I was half-right. And also Pascal, that’s some scarf.

i love tangos especially free dance tangos

i have played some myself too.. just loved them... and i love counting 1-2-3, -1-2-3, 1-2-...

but no FD tango should be allowed in RD tango "daily special" year

what do you think of single skaters doing tango? only rarely well done

we will have to see if over the years, IAM and IAM -Ontario get further and further apart in terms of style and choreography. I suspect that similar technique will be taught but choreo and style could evolve in a bunch of different ways.
