I was talking to my neighbor who just had a baby (the baby is 2 months old). When I asked if I could come over to see him, he told me he was at the chiropractor. Well I almost started laughing (I did laugh) at the thought, a baby going to the chiropractor! Is this something new! Or am I out of the loop on baby care?

i am 31 and my mom was taking me to the chiropractor as a baby to make sure i do not end up bowlegged (sp ?). She was horified it would be the case, so I was getting several massages a week as a baby. My legs are very straight, but it's the extra poundage that makes me think that my mom didn't get her money's worth

My oldest son (who is 21 now) was very bow legged with his feet turned in badly as a baby. Not once did I take him to a chiropractor. He just wore special shoes when he slept and once he started to walk his legs straighten out just fine.

Studies have shown that chiropractic treatments may help colicky babies - at least it has been shown that they cry less following the treatments. The idea is that during delivery, the spine may get out of alignment, causing the pain. Baby chiropractors are very different from adult ones - the touch has to be very light, or there will be more damage than good done.
