Wow Tessa & Scott got the P-Spot! According to Michelle the Researcher on US's Figure Skating Pre/Review, they looked very sharp and ready to go. They also brought up Del/Schol and said they are tight but also known for putting a great CD. She was off to see Dom/Shabs.

Poor Baby Italians. Sucks skating first but you never know.

Interesting to see D/W draw before Dom/Shabs.

I really like Capellini & La Notte..their names sound like some kind of yummy pasta..and she looks like a bon-bon..hope they skate well.:)

C/P and S/B ..like glue again

D/W and D/S..??? a test of whether the Tchaikovskaya tune up makes a difference ?

12 competitive teams. all have won GP medals. This will be really good. It could have been spectacular if the FD programs of the top teams were better.

I'm so sad for Anna and Luca...they are so unlucky in draws!!! (also euro!)

BTW, I've read that the draw was likely taken in two parts:
1) skaters with world rankings 1-13
2) skaters with rankings after (anna & luca are 14th)

Thanks for clearing that up! Unfortunate for them that out of 13 possible start numbers, they draw first.

From what I heard Anna and Luca weren't even at the draw, another Italian drew for them (not sure who that was) and he drew #1.

I don't believe this is a competition of 'favorites'. It basicalyt falls into a Comparative Competition. No gimmicks like the OD and no Royalty like the FD.

There is no theme to consider and no interpretation either - just the official steps to the rhythm of the selected music. Boring as it may seen, it should come up with close scores by the besdt of the best. That is if there is no hanky panky in judging, the placements should be in order based on the carriage of the couples. Errors, ofcourse will be judged harshly.

Glaring Tango looks ir over -the-top romantic looks should not be considered. Just good dancing as it is laid out to be.

After trying to recover for the men, time to go to dance. With all the contenders skating back to back to back, this is gonna be interesting.

I asked this for the men, but forget where to find this, but can someone post the link to the times of the groups and skaters? thanks

1 more hour until Baby Italians are up!

With Russia going 0 for 2, you think Dom/Shab will get a boost? Pressure must be very high on them.

Thanks for the Eurovision link, but doens't work for me, there is any other link?

I'm crossing my fingesrs to B/A and D/S.
