"Of course, I'm very happy to be back in Omsk, because I have only the warmest memories of this city, and the Arena already feels so familiar. And I think that's given me more confidence."

- "Look at the stands here; it's hard to even imagine how many thousands of spectators there are. Do you prefer arenas like this or more intimate ones?"

"I prefer skating in larger arenas, and when we were standing before warming up today, I looked straight out at the rink, looked at the spectators, and started smiling. It's great that so many people came to watch figure skating today, to cheer for me and the other girls."

- "You landed a pretty difficult jump cleanly today. How much responsibility do you feel, knowing you absolutely have to land one quadruple to nail the cascade? And how consistent is this jump for you?"

"I think sometimes it's easier for me to land quads early in the program than triples in the second half, because toward the end of the program I start to get tired, and it's much harder to focus on how my body feels. I try to focus more on quality than quantity. It's better to do a little less but cleanly than a lot but not very cleanly."

– "How will you prepare for the Russian Championship?"

"I hope I can make the routine even more challenging. I'm currently working on my triple axel. Of course, I can't do it consistently during the Grand Prix stages because I'm practicing my programs for competitions. But now I have the time, and I hope to increase the difficulty and show even more challenging content at the Russian Championships."

– "Are there any plans to include a triple axel in the short program? "

"We'll see. I don't want to predict anything. Everyone probably doesn't like it."

Grand Prix stage in Omsk🥇Thank you to the coaching staff @teamtutberidze_official for your hard work and support. I appreciate all the effort you've put into me. I'm sure there's a lot of work ahead, and together we can achieve new goals. Thank you for your help!🩶🙏🏻I was happy to be back in this arena, where I felt confident, calm, strong, and supported by the spectators there. 🥹 Thank you to everyone who cheered and supported me during these days, both in Omsk and on the broadcast! I read all the messages and am so pleased that so many people are celebrating and sharing this victory with me.

Sad moment for Dasha but this is sport and such things happen. Now we need to jump back and fight again.

"It's hard to say what went wrong. We talked with the coaches and concluded that after the first fall, I kind of completely shut down and couldn't focus on the rest of the elements.
Speaking about the difficulties in preparation – after the stage in Omsk, I sprained my foot and didn't skate for several days. I don't think that was the reason, the training went normally. I told the coaches that I didn't skate well in practice.
This is probably the worst start in my career, I made mistakes on all jumps. Now I need to somehow get over it, it's hard to say how. It's tough when such performances happen at the main competition of the season. I feel like I let everyone down, especially myself. I need to keep working to make sure this doesn't happen again."

Figure skater Daria Sadkova announced that she will undergo an X-ray due to a recurrence of a leg injury.

Today Sadkova took third place at the Russian Jumping Championships.

"Overall, I'm pleased with the Russian Jumping Championships. It was better than last year. Back then, I was last, but now I'm in the top three. I can give myself credit for that.

I was happy to have already made it to the semifinals, but the problem was that I hadn't prepared for the third round. I didn't prepare any routines because I didn't think I'd make it to the finals.

I knew I'd be going for two quads. When I had time left, I wanted to do a clean quad. I took a risk, went for a quad at the last second, and fell. And the same leg that hurt before the Russian Championships started hurting. Maybe it was a strain, it's hard to say now.

Before the Russian Grand Prix in Omsk, I twisted my ankle, but the ligament wasn't bothering me anymore, and I was able to perform all the necessary elements without pain. Now it's a bit painful to stand on it. I had to limp and couldn't transfer my weight onto my right leg.

"We'll take a picture in a couple of days, and it will be clear what's going on. We hope it's nothing serious," Sadkova said.
