I have Peacock so I never watch skating on NBC. But I wanted to see Deniss on network TV and I turned it on , and Yuma was on, so I missed it. I actually wanted to hear Johnny and Tara.

The gala is on ISU's channel. If it's geoblocked for you you can use a VPN and set it to for example Latvia

Lots of incredible positives to take away from his time here in France. Deniss did brilliantly to place second in the short programme and now this is an opportunity for us to enjoy his great performance skill.

Despite the disappointment of dropping from second place after the short I'm sure this will bolster Deniss's confidence as he goes towards the end of the season.

And you can see from this exhibition performance why he's so beloved in the skating community.

Sorry I haven’t been able to post all my pics of him here myself, thanks so much everyone who did it instead!
I am so proud of what he achieved at the Grand Prix, and so happy he has his confidence in his own skills back!

Can’t wait to see him in Zagreb next weekend. I’ll miss the SP, but will be there live for the LP and the Gala!

Not perfect (3A was q) but still really good!

2nd in SP was quite expectable
Fun fact: Deniss got the highest score for a jump combination. Probably because it was landed as the last jumping pass. The change that could have give him SB if not q in 3A... and uncharacteristic mistake during the camel spin.
And no surprise his StSq also got the highest score. It's just adorable.

2nd place in the SP with some really worthy rivals is a great result - it's just a pity about these small mistakes but still a great programme.

I'm really excited for the FS but we have to wait for it until Saturday
