In what will probably be his last international asignment before Nationals in June, Dillon will be back in action today at the Triglav Trophy in Jesenice, Slovenia.

The Senior Men's SP is due to start today at 18:55:00 CEST (16:55:00 GMT / 17:55:00 BST). So 11 hours from now.

Dillon will be the 2nd skater to start. So, second and antepenultimate skater to go in Group 1 (and antepenultimate skater to go in the segment).

The Group 2 Warm-Up is due to start at 18:55:00 CEST (16:55:00 GMT / 17:55:00 BST). So 11 hours from now.

Dillon is due to start at 19:07:00 CEST (17:07:00 GMT / 18:07:00 BST). So 11h 12m from now.

But, those times may change if somebody that is due on before him withdraws.

Dillon is currently 0.60 points behind 2nd position, Nico STEFFEN (CHE), and 5.53 points behind 1st position, Iker OYARZABAL (ESP).

Oh, and this is a new absolute Personal Best score for the Short Programme, surpassing his previous best from January's edition of the Volvo Open Cup by 3.30 points!!!

:cheer:   :party2: :points: :hb:

Although he is currently in last position, the scores are such that Dillon could still win this! That said, he would need Oyarzabal to make mistakes, and I wouldn't wish that on anybody. And especially not somebody who is part of the coaching team of one of my other kids!

But, Dillon definitely has a very good shot at claiming second position.

So, let's hope he has a good Free Skate and can capitalise on this opportunity to climb.

:cheer: WELL DONE DILLON!!! :cheer:

The Senior Men's FS is due to start at 19:08:00 CEST (17:08:00 GMT / 18:08:00 BST). So 12 hours from now.

Dillon will be the 1st skater to start. So, first and antepenultimate skater to go in Group 1 (and antepenultimate skater to go in the segment).

The Group 1 Warm-Up is due to start at 19:08:00 CEST (17:08:00 GMT / 18:08:00 BST). So 12 hours from now.

Dillon is due to start at 19:14:30 CEST (17:14:30 GMT / 18:14:30 BST). So 12h 14m from now.

But, those times may change if somebody that is due on before him withdraws.

Dillon finished 3rd out of 3 in the FS, with a score of 82.51. This meant that he remained in 3rd position overall, with a score of 135.06.

Dillon finished the Free Skate 9.26 points behind 2nd position, Nico STEFFEN (CHE), and 29.62 points behind 1st position, Iker OYARZABAL (ESP).

Overall, Dillon was 9.86 points behind 2nd position, Steffen, and 35.75 points behind 1st position, Oyarzabal.

The mistakes on the Axels (falling on the individual Axel, and singling the Axel in the sequence), and whatever happened to the Lutz were costly. And so was the other fall that didn't happen on an element. However, when you look at the total Base Values of the three programmes, the Free Skate was always going to finish in this order. The differences between the numbers were just too big to overcome.

But Dillon showed in the Short Programme that when the total Base Values of the programmes are close, he is capable of fighting with them.

Although this was one of the middle FS scores that he achieved this season, it and the absolute PB score that he got in the SP were good enough to get him his third highest ever overall score.

In his two most recent events, Dillon has achieved his highest ever SP score (at the Triglav Trophy), and his third highest ever FS score (at the Sonia Henie Trophy). Hopefully this run of form will continue into Nationals in June.

:cheer: WELL DONE DILLON!!! :cheer:
