Dobrin switches coaches

As IA "Sportcom" has found out, Russian National bronze medalist Sergei Dobrin has switched coaches. He left the group of Zhanna Gromova, who has raised Irina Slutskaya, for Alexei Mishin, the famous St. Petersburg coach of many Olympic champions. Up until the switch, the 20-year-old skater has trained with Gromova in Moscow for 8 years. On Wednesday, the athlete flew to Jaca in Spain for Mishin's Summer training camp. Later on, he will move from Moscow to Saint Petersburg.

Mishin has made it very clear that he won't work with Lambiel if he is also training Plushenko. However, he also has Lutai. Then again, he has his wife Tatiana work with the younger skaters.

Both Lutai and Dobrin are missing somethng that prevents them from being in the elite group of Senior Men. Both of them have elite potential. Let' see if Mishin can bring them up to par.

Given the problems of Yags and Plush with Mishin, if true, then this will spur them on.
