Donovan Carrillo

You are correct. In another interview he mentioned a surprise with mariachi. I know many would be bored, but i would love to see donovan try classical music. I don't think he has ever done it. I will be happy with whatever he does.

Asian Open Trophy is in Hong Kong which is near in surrounding areas in South East Asia which I want to go but I have second thoughts on possibly of meeting him at 4CC in S. Korea which it takes some planning.

Regarding with one of Donovan's coaches Jonathan Mills which I did a some digging about him that he's the founder of The Rotation Room and he's a harness specialist which I began to understand why he chose the two of them aside from he worked with them in the past as Donovan mentioned in an interview.

↑ That is my video and I meant leaving a link here and forgot about it, lol.

Donovan says he will compete in Hong Kong in September. I checked the ISU list of competitions and I cannot find the one in Hong Kong at that time. He also mentions that he will look into "música tradicional mexicana" for his new programs. I wonder what those would be?

ETA It may be Asian Open Figure Skating Trophy, I guess?

Yes I suppose it's the Asian Open.

Traditional Mexican music? It could be anything from classical music from Mexican composers, to last year's best-loved tunes by a Mexican band, or Mexican traditional dance music, or traditional music from a Native cultural group...?
I don't know if this waltz would be called traditional Mexican music?

The Asian Open Trophy will be at Hong Kong.

A snippet of one of Donovan's new programs (can't tell SP or LP)♥️

And it appears from the comments that Donovan is skating to Luis Miguel?🇲🇽 Possibly La Bikina? (Andrea Montesinos says "your favorite" and Donovan in past interviews has said that he listens to Luismi before competing to calm down/pump himself up)

That's already confirm as LP

I didn't see an announcement from Donovan himself, like this one above.

I saw a clip where he was performing moves, and thanking his coach Myke for a program (he didn't even say which one). Posters in the comments said it's Luis Miguel, and other posters in the comments said La Bikina, but I didn't see Donovan himself say that. Now, he could have said something in the comments or could have liked the posters' comments, and I missed it.

I understand the frustration that you got there. I think that comments either Luis Miguel or LA Bikina are considered accurate since LA Bikina is a Luis Miguel song in a Remix version. Sometimes that it pays well to be observant the best in our ability although not all of the time.

I agree, I can be too literal. I am 99% sure that is his LP.

And more importantly, Donovan will slay both of his programs:hap10:

Really sweet fluff piece on Donovan and his experience at 2024 Worlds, talking with Coach Jonathan, and learning that he is always losing his room keys.

Plus a close up video and audio of Donovan in the KnC getting his scores. I had not heard the "No Way" from Donovan on getting his PBs before :)

Donovan's Free Skate from the Asian Open. He finished fifth in the free and sixth overall (he made more mistakes than he would have wanted in the SP).

The program is pure Donovan showcasing Mexican music, but OMG.

The costume🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Donovan has outdone himself, and that is a high standard:)
