I agree and our top novice ladies seem to be more consistent with the toe and salchow at least than many of our top juniors. Hopefully some of these ladies will get JGP assignments next year.

Agreed. I remeber Rika Inoda landing triples in her FS to win the novice nationals title last year. Skate Canada did the right thing, and put her in a JGP assignment this season. No, she didn't medal, but she did well and got valuable experience. I think more of this would be beneficial, particulary in the singles ranks, where Canada seems to be a little weaker lately.
