Didn't someone post on here that S/K had also been using Masquerade Waltz, at least when they were learning the dance? I hope we don't end up with both teams doing it, not least because I can't see how you can marry it well with a march, polka or foxtrot.

I still would have prefered if B/S had turned their Anna program into the SD. The soundtrack is waltz based, and otherwise I fear things are just going to look quite samey.

If you read between the lines of the interview it is very negative, as the only real positive stuff is that Solovyev is hungry for success and Katya has improved.
Where is the positiveness of they are going to make an impact this season, and all is on track to return to being No. 1?

Good Lord, Ravensburger waltz is such a dance about flow and swing and airiness and they're using such ponderous music. Skeptical is right. I'm downright flummoxed. It seems like it would be a good pattern for their style, but that music isn't going to do them any favors. Well let's hope they don't add a eurotrash disco pulse to it as well.

I am looking forward to seeing the Anna K program though.

I disagree. It's very light and positive interview. They are ready to skate wherever they can next season, just like Liza did last season. One competition at time. They were a little bit too cocky before and look what happened, no need to repeat that mistake.

Since they're going for DRAMA (ha ha, big surprise here) in their SD, I think such ponderous music is going to serve them just well. I'm sure at least someone from their team will 'die', or will go crazy or something like that in both of their dances next season. And while I have nothing against drama for Karenina dance, I think they will go over the top in SD. It was Zhuline's idea to mix these two pieces after all.

Their original idea was to mix 'Masqurade' with 'Farewell of Slavianka' march (check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9m9DyFTNFc). Thank God they decided to drop it. It was honestly terrible and absolutely tasteless choice in my opinion.
