Ekaterina Bobrova & Dmitri Soloviev

What a delight to watch at the WTT.

I've only recently gotten into FS and Ice Dance is the discipline I know least about, but I am becoming a fan of this pair.

Also liked their enthusiasm for the other Russian skaters.:hap10:

Ekaterina and Dmitri did great at the World Team Trophy! I personally would have had their PCS scores above Chock & Bates - yes, I am an American (but my U.S. teams are the Shibs), but I don't see how C/B's programs were that much better - especially in SS, TR, and CO. :scratch2:

I do hope that Ekaterina and Dmitri work on getting more Level 4s - those 3 Level 3s were the difference in the TES.

I think Russia should move ahead of the U.S. in the WTT after the pairs and ladies FS. Not sure about Japan - I think it really will come down to what happens in the ladies FS.

I am very much looking forward to what this team does next season. :)

I enjoyed their free dance a lot.

I don't know much about ice dancing, but this is the pair that helps me get into it (together with the Shibs) and I will try to follow it more.

Putting aside their skating skills and results...

Ekaterina is no 1 in terms of cheering and supporting :D Bright spot of Russian K&C

Just to let you know that I have updated the Original Post.

One of the things I have done is to extend the Competitive History table way back to the 2002-03 Season. However, there are a LOT of blanks in it.

The problem is that a lot of the older competitions have had their Entries / Results pages taken down. Although I was able to get the positions from fskate.ru, they did not give the scores. Probably because these competitions were run under 6.0 rules, and they don't want to confuse newer fans.

But, I don't like blank cells, and would like to fill the 6.0 era cells in a similar fashion to what I did in Jenna McCorkell's Fan Fest.

So, if anybody knows what any of the blanks should be, please let us know.

Thank you

Have you tried getting the scores from archived versions of the original score sheets?
If the old link is still at fskate.ru, copy the link into the Wayback Machine and quite often the results are there.
http://archive.org/web/web.php

That's the problem. I can't find the addresses for the original results pages to put them into the Wayback Machine. And all the other outlets I would try (Stats On Ice, Tracings, Eiskunstlauf Ecke, fskate.ru, Wikipedia) either don't go back that far or don't have detailed results.

It doesn't really matter in the greater scheme of things, since it is so long ago and they have gone on to much bigger and better things. It's just me being niggly.

By the way, I followed your lead and used archived versions of the Entries / Results Pages as the default options for links in the table, and after that used Tracings or fskate.ru.

I know it's unlikely the ISU Results site will ever be removed, but you never know. So, better safe than sorry.
