They really are a good team, fingers crossed for her jumps and landings.Very happy to see this little "snippet" of their program. Forming the prayer circle for Ellie's jumps and throws.

They are amazing. And yes good luck to them.I was hoping to find more fans and posts here. I love Ellie and Danny’s skating and their programs this year are great. I particularly love the SP. The choreography is fantastic .. difficult, interesting skating between elements and unique transitions. It’s my favorite pairs program from anyone this year.
Their nationals SP performance was so good. Hoping they can do the same in tonight’s FS.
Good luck to Ellie & Danny! ⛸
There's a thread with links, but the linked video is not available in Canada. If you know someone with a VPN installed, you could watch it on their computer. Or try to install a free VPN (or have someone do it for you).I wasn't watching the US championships and only heard about this pair's FS disappointment reading about it on GS. Is it likely that the event (the pairs final) will be posted somewhere it can be seen free in Canada? YouTube? My original partner of long ago and I only got back together on the ice within the last month. He's been keeping up his singles skating during the years he worked in the US, but is now, having abruptly moved his family back to Canada in December, picking up pairs moves again with me. He'd like to see that performance to see for himself what might have happened, considering Danny's experience. He can read about it, of course, but wants to actually see it with the eyes of another male pairs skater, to perhaps remind himself of a potential error he's forgotten.
A Russian-Israeli friend sent it to me, thanks. It played fine on my computer. Just a coincidence. She's a former skater and often forwards copies of skating tapes her mother sends her from Russia. She tries to send me as many pairs videos as she can, but didn't realize I was already looking for that event. There's a thread with links, but the linked video is not available in Canada. They’re so much better than they skated at Nationals. GP medals, made GPF, bronze at 4CCs….it was really shocking.A Russian-Israeli friend sent it to me, thanks. It played fine on my computer. It happens in anything competitive. In Highland dancing, they judge two or three dancers at a time, depending on the size of the class. My last competition before I retired with chronic shin splints, I found myself paired with the girl who was the reigning North American champion. But it was an outdoor wooden stage and there had been brief splatters of rain. She skidded in a wet patch and fell. Got up and caught up with the piper (and me) but one lace had snapped and her ghillie slipper worked its way loose and fell off at the end. They’re so much better than they skated at Nationals.
